About

Born and raised in Essex (UK), I was formally trained and graduated from Loughborough University with a Masters in Chemical Engineering. Close proximity to London means that I'm never too far from a Wagamama, nor a cosy British pub.

I began my career in 2013 as a data management analyst for an automotive company, specialising in bill of management control and cost/weight optimisation. In 2019 I took the plunge into the world of web development and love every minute!

Vault Hunters

Vault Hunters is a modified version of Minecraft, created by popular Twitch streamer iskall85. The modpack turns Minecraft into a dungeon-crawler, with varied objectives and progression routes for your character.

The website displays a wide array of game information (using live game-files). It also draws data from iskall85's public servers, so players can see their character data live in the Vault Hunters Armory.

FFXIV Completionist

FFXIV Completionist is a web-app for popular online game Final Fantasy XIV, used to track completion of certain in-game achievements.

The app scrapes the FFXIV game database and shows which milestones you've yet to complete, with extra information at the fingertips to help you along the way. Players can log in for additional perks and user data is stored in a secure cloud database.

Tyche

Tyche is a smart playlist generator for the popular music app Spotify.

This site is primarily designed for mobile users. After a quick authorisation step, the user simply selects a group of artists they enjoy listening to, and the app does the rest! You can preview your new playlist and listen to snippets of the tracks, before deciding to either add the playlist to your Spotify account or roll the dice again!

Butterfly Services

Butterfly Services is a small local business specialising in spiritual communication and psychic readings.

The site is a simple, static HTML site. The client requested a cosy yet professional website, spanning multiple pages. The purpose of the site was for it to be used as a community hub, but also a means for prospective customers to order psychic readings or submit payments for services rendered.

Discord Bots

Discord is a widespread chat service mainly focused in the realm of gaming. It's possible to create bots which interacts with users on a Discord server.

A recent bot I created allowed users to register the "time of death" of a monster in an online game, which stored that information in a database. When it comes time for that monster to re-spawn the following day, the bot sends a 1-hour advanced warning to muster the troops!

Tradesman

Tradesman is an example website for a fictional (and apparently multi-skilled) tradesman!

This type of website can be thrown together very quickly, providing the requisite information is already available. It's simple, transferable, and contains all the information potential customers need to get in touch with you.
